LINDA'S PERSONAL MUSICOLOGY
As a music artist Linda sings to interpret life's stories
through song, whilst helping to create the perfect atmosphere
- whether it's a party celebration, a happy hour or a chilled relaxing one
- it's sure to be filled with enjoyment, fun, laughter and
dancing (whether mentally or physically)
For Linda, "Like life, music is a journey. Through
song I love to share, celebrate and reminisce about the stories
of our lives along the way. Each song represents a story of
what may have happened to us with empathy, and some even help
change the way we view ourselves, others and the world in
which we live for the better. Also, live music is a catalyst
allowing great celebrations to unwind, allowing us to connect
with each other in the most special way. Great songs have
always heightened my our own life experience like magic, so
I like to share this magic whenever I can - Through The ONE
GIRL BAND Show we celebrate life through the beautiful power
of song"
Linda's aim is to encourage more performing musicians back
into their community venues on a regular basis whether private
or public
Musicians like any profession need consistant work.
When poker machines moved into hotels all those years ago in
Australia they mostly moved into what had been the live music
room and many musicians were displaced. Hopefully more and more
community centres will welcome our community more and more of our musicians
back to their local centres, whether hotels, RSLs,
etc. so they can share their talents for the betterment and enjoyment of
the community
If you're in a position to help book and encourage more live music in our community venues or at private parties please know you'll no doubt be rewarded by the gift and joy that music brings
We all know music is an ancient tribal tradition that like
food and good beveridges bring people together to celebrate and any venue has an entertainment licence included in their general
licence so hopefully we'll be hearing more
live music from our local musicians on a more regular basis at every venue throughout Australia
