Linda is looking to form a three piece band for two musical projects: a standards & popular covers band, and an original song band.
FUNTIMZ would be the band name of the covers band and another with the same core band members would be called The NEW Party playing original songs - or a combination of both, who knows?
Auditions for a gifted drummer and a gifted bass player are hoping to take place over the coming month.
Linda as a Port Pirie community minded artist musician and songwriter has written and recorded hundreds of original songs and hopes to collaborate with some other talented musicians to bring some of these songs to life. A particular leaning to country pop rock would also be advantageous for the original songs.
Also the ability and an interest and appreciation to collaborate on standards and popular songs from the 1920's to the present day from numerous musical genres such as county, rock, RnB, jazz, rock 'n roll, blues, pop, would be a bonus.
At this time there is no guarantee of live show bookings, but rather the opportunity to collaborate in a generally monthly artistic project, where any future earnings from live shows are split evenly.
Currently Linda performs live solo shows as ONE GIRL BAND, however if it comes to light in the future that there is a bigger budget to pay for a three piece band show, this outfit will play the show instead if that is preferred.
